My Little Man

My Little Man

Noah, 4 Years Old

Our little man is now 4 years old! He is in his second year of preschool and loves it. He is "into" Cars, Toy Story, Sponge Bob Square Pants. He loves to play with Mighty Beans, toy cars/trucks and any kind of gadget. He's a stitch to be around and we just love to spending time with our growing boy!

Hannah, 1 Year Old

It's hard to believe that our baby girl is already one! She's a full-fledged toddler, walking and climbing everywhere. She tries her best to keep up with her big brother in all aspects of life, including playing with cars and Toy Story figurines! She's one smart little cookie and we are so lucky to have her in our lives!

About Me

My photo
Amy Abbott
I have been teaching elementary music since 1998. I receieved my bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Colorado at Boulder and my masters degree in music education with a Kodály emphasis from Colorado State University. I completed 4 levels of Kodály training and certification from Portland State University where I studied with Jill Trinka, Susan Brumfield and Vicki Loebell. I took additional Kodály Levels and received certification from Colorado State University. There I studied with Sue Liethold-Bowcock and Ann Eisen. I currently teach K-5 music at Red Hawk Elementary where I implement the Kodály methodology. In addition to teaching K-5 general music I also teach a 4/5 choir, 2 tone-chime choirs and a drum ensemble.
